ANNUAL SPORTS MEET (JUNIORS) IN JESUS’ SACRED HEART SCHOOL(18.0217)

 

Gold Medals are not really made of gold, they are made of sweat, determination and hard   to find alloy called guts.

Jesus’ Sacred Heart School marks its commitment to the importance of sports in student life by celebrating Annual Sports meet for pre-primary students on 18th February 2017. The pleasant weather was the perfect boost for the students on the Sports day which enhanced the tiny tots to      enter into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way .The celebration began with the recital of school song. The Sports secretary administered the solemn oath to the captains. The Director of the school officially declared the sports meet open and released balloons symbolizing the vibrant spirit of the students that were soaring high.   The Director Mr. Pawandeep Singh and Principal Ms. Kirti Sharma took the salute of the impressive March Past of the students. A mesmerizing Ganesh Vandana gave a grand opening to the show. Energizing exercise drills set the tone for the rest of the event. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for young athletes. Students of Pre Nursery to grade UKG competed Class wise events including  Ball Race, Back Race, Flat Race, Jacket & Cap Race, Tube Race etc.

Little ones stood enchanted on the victory stand as they were being honoured with medals.  The Rajasthani dance ‘ Kalbelia’ was the pique of the grand show.  The fun frolic event came to an end with everlasting memories.
