G.S MEMORIAL CELEBRATED WITH FULL GUSTO IN JSHS(07.10.2017)

The campus of Jesus’ Sacred Heart School wore a festive look on the second day of G.S Memorial which had a colorful start on 6th October 2017 with 2500 students from 35 schools with dazzling display of array of events in sports, cultural and academic events. The outdoor activities comprised of swimming, skating, cricket league and football.  Team of Jesus’ Sacred Heart School won the final match of Cricket and Sacred Heart Sen. Sec. School won the final match of Football.  The rich culture and heritage of various states of India was exhibited through display in an event named ‘Table Aux of India’ in which Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town was declared winner followed by the indoor event ‘Little Oscars’ which was designed to judge the scientific skills among little scientists and the winning position was clinched by B.C.M. Arya Model Sen. Sec. School.  In ‘Newspaper 3-D Art’, again B.C.M. Arya Model Sen. Sec. School was awarded winning position.

The highlight of the show was a stage event, ‘Historical Theatre’ which depicted the important events held in the past and the first position was bagged by B.C.M. Arya Model Sen. Sec. School. The best dancing troupe of JSHS and B.C.M. School (Chd. Road) bagged the first position in Bhangra twist. The most awaited moment was the prize distribution which was done by the chief guest cum Chairperson of school Mrs. Amarjit Kaur Sehgal along with the members of the management. The heart throbbing moment was the declaration of  overall trophy that was conferred upon B.C.M. Arya Model Sen. Sec. School, first runner up was B.C.M. School(Chd. Road) and Jesus’ Sacred Heart School and the second runner up was Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town. The event was declared closed by Honorable Director of the school, Mr. Pawandeep Singh Sehgal who lauded the participants for their zeal and invincible spirit.  The show was a huge success and the whole environment elated with the radiant smiles and cheers of the winning team.
