Jesus’ Sacred Heart School marked the grand opening of ‘G. S Memorial’(6.10.2017)

The campus of  Jesus` Sacred Heart School wore a festive look filled with great fanfare and gusto on 6th  October 2017 as the School celebrated the first day of  its Annual G. S Memorial inter school event. More than 2500 students of Grade I-V from 35 schools across the city participated to become a part of prestigious inter school event presenting  their  dazzling and daredevil display of activities encompassing sports, cultural and academic events.This multi-event extravaganza is an Inter-School Kids Festival designed  for all school students of Grades I-V.

It has been a huge success since the last six years and has garnered appreciation from all big school in and around Ludhiana.

The opening ceremony included March past by participating teams, Flag hoisting and Oath taking ceremony.The Director of the school, Mr. Pawandeep Singh Sehgal declared the opening of cultural fest .The programme started by seeking the blessings of Lord Ganpati through Vandana dance followed by outdoor activities like athletics and cultural aerobics . Proving their mettle in Indoor games , the first position in PPT was clinched by Manav Rachna Int. Public School & JSHS, in paper plate creations, the winner was BCM Sen. Sec. School(Sec. 32) and BCM Arya Model Sen. Sec. School bagged the first position in name plate designing. The stage activity `rock and ragas` filled the auditorium with a huge round of applause and the winner was BCM Arya Model Sen. Sec. School & JSHS.  In Talk show, the winning position was clinched again by BCM Arya Model Sen. Sec. School. Every performance was entertaining and august gathering was glued to their seats for almost many hours. The winner in cultural aerobics competition was BCM Arya Model Sen. Sec. School. All the winners were beaming with enthusiasm about getting big wins against so many competitors. The event was diligently organized. There was a soul to it. A soul that was vibrant, contagious and exuberant.
