Jesus’ Sacred Heart School campus with their imagination and creativity certainly proved the adage to be true. The second day of G.S Memorial had a colorful start on 15th October 2016 with dazzling display of array of events in sports, cultural and academic events.

The outdoor activities comprised of swimming, football and cricket .The foot tapping performance in the name of Boogie Movie stole the show. The indoor activities like Design a Hoarding based on the theme ‘State Tourism’, brought forth the creativity at its best. Students exhibited their talent in creating ‘beautiful nature’ in the Terrarium Making.   All the participants excelled in Brush Smear based on modern art. The little scientists were apt in showing their knowledge in Science Challenge.

The  highlight of the show  was a stage event ,Story Yoga  which depicted the importance of yoga in modern era.

The most awaited moment was the prize distribution which was done by the Chairperson of school Mrs. Amarjit Kaur Sehgal along with the members of the management. The first position in 20 m free style (boys & girls) swimming was Jesus Sacred Heart School. In Football, the cup was won by BCM Arya Model Sen. Sec. School, in Cricket the winner was the team of SK Public School and Jesus Sacred Heart School bagged runner up trophy.  Winner of Design a Hoarding was BCM Arya Model Sen. Sec. School. In Terrarium Making , Guru Nanak International Public School bagged the first prize.  BCM Arya Model Sen. Sec. School won the first position in Brush Smear. In Science Challenge the winner declared was BCM Arya Model Sen. Sec. School. BCM Arya Model Sen. Sec. School clinched the first position in Story Yoga. The best dancing troupe of B.C.M. Sen. Sec. School, Chandigarh Road bagged the first position in Boogie Movie.

The most awaited and heart throbbing moment was the declaration of  overall trophy that was conferred upon B.C.M. Arya Model Sen. Sec. School, first runner up was Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town and the second runner up was Guru Nanak International Public School.   The event was declared closed with wise words of Honourable Director Sir who lauded the participants for their zeal and invincible spirit. Event had a closed ceremony with spectacular dances.  The show was a big success and the whole environment elated with the radiant smiles of the winners.
