JSHS Celebrates Senior Annual Day with Enthralling Performances and Cultural Grandeur
Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1, South City, Ludhiana, witnessed an extraordinary celebration of creativity and talent as the school hosted its much-awaited Senior Annual Day Celebration on November 15, 2025, marking 25 glorious years of the institution providing value-based education and nurturing responsible global citizens. The evening was a magnificent blend of cultural vibrancy and artistic excellence that showcased the holistic growth and spirit of the students.
The event commenced on a spiritual note with the divine recital of Shabad and Vandana, seeking the blessings of the Almighty. The school campus radiated an aura of festivity and anticipation. The distinguished dignitaries present for the occasion included Chairperson, Amarjit Kaur, School Directors, Ramandeep Singh, Pawandeep Singh, Simran Kaur, Rajbinder Kaur and Principal, Kirti Sharma. The celebration began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the end of ignorance and the beginning of knowledge and wisdom.
The School Director, Ramandeep Singh, delivered a welcome address, warmly greeted the gathering of parents, teachers and students. In his address, he emphasized the school’s unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds and shaping them into responsible and confident individuals.
The theme of the function, “Khoj: An Endless Exploration” mesmerized the audience with the inspiring journey of two travellers. The cultural performances left the audience enthralled, showcasing a series of thematic performances titled Rural Rebirth, Evolving Gurukul Spirit, Elite Vibes and many more. Each performance portrayed a different facet of society. Adding a powerful and adrenaline-filled segment to the evening, the sports students of JSHS showcased an electrifying series of stunts and martial art displays. Segments like Gatka and Ramp Radiance (Fashion Show) also added energy to the show.
Following the performances, Principal, Kirti Sharma presented the Annual Report, highlighting the school’s achievements throughout the academic year 2024-2025. The report emphasized the institution’s ongoing commitment to excellence across academics, sports and co-curricular pursuits, reflecting the school’s mission to develop well-rounded individuals. She expressed gratitude to parents and staff for their continuous support in upholding the school’s legacy of success and innovation.
The celebration took a graceful turn with the Prize Distribution Ceremony, where all the annual achievers were felicitated across academics, sports and co-curricular areas, along with the overall champions across all domains. The awards honoured the student’s relentless hard work and perseverance. The School Director, Pawandeep Singh, in his address lauded the performances and reaffirmed the school’s vision of providing quality education rooted in equality and inclusivity.
The finale, ‘Rhythm of Life’ beautifully concluded the theme of the function. The celebration concluded with a vibrant Bhangra performance and singing of National Anthem which filled everyone with excitement and pride. The Senior Annual Day Celebration 2025 was not just a display of talent but set a tone for the year ahead, reflecting the institution’s deep rooted philosophy of “Aspire to Achieve”.
