Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, Ludhiana, recently witnessed a lively class presentation by students of Grade V on the topic “Inventions”. The event unfolded as a colourful journey through ideas, imagination, and innovation, where young minds took the audience from everyday gadgets to futuristic breakthroughs.

Students presented a well‑prepared PowerPoint highlighting significant inventions across time. They explained modern marvels such as ultrathin loudspeakers, extremely slim and flexible sound systems used in smart devices, and KIROBO Padrone colour‑changing fabric, a smart textile that shifts colour using light or sensors, with applications in fashion and safety wear. They also introduced the concept of electric surgery, an advanced medical technique that uses electric currents for precise and minimally invasive operations, making surgeries safer and more accurate.

Each child spoke confidently, describing the purpose and benefits of these inventions in simple yet effective language. The presentation also included brief mentions of classic inventions like the telephone, light bulb, and the internet, linking the foundations of the past with the innovations of the present and future.

The programme began with a warm welcome address by the class in‑charges, who introduced the theme and the learning goals behind the presentation. A creative dance performance on the “tune of inventions” added energy and fun to the event, as students moved to the rhythm of discovery, imagination, and technological progress.

The presentation was attended by the Director of the School, Pawandeep Singh and Simran Kaur, Principal Ms. Kirti Sharma and parents, who were spellbound to witness the power‑packed performance. The programme ended with the solemn and inspiring rendition of the National Anthem, sending the audience home with a sense of pride and purpose.
