Jesus` Sacred Heart School celebrated its Annual Sports day on  February 10, 2016 with great zeal and fervour. The chief guest for the function was Chairperson, Ms. Amarjeet Kaur Sehgal. The oath taking ceremony came in the wake of the ceremonial relay of the athletic meet torch, by the best athletes of the school. The meet was declared open by Director, Mr. Pawandeep Singh Sehgal. The chief guest unfurled the school flag and took salute from the marching contingents of Tilak, Nehru, Gandhi, Tagore House. The aerobics by young and energetic athletes was a treat  for the spectators. The fabulous  display of well coordinated and rhythmic movements of the young Jesus’ Sacred Heartians  in the form of Malhari dance was of par excellence.  It was followed by amazing show of Terra Taali dance by the students. The spectators were enthralled by the feats performed by the students of the school. Audience had a gala time enjoying the Athletic Meet. Students displayed their strength and stamina as they essayed hard to win Elephant Walk Race, Frog Race, Collect the Toy Race, Rabbit Race and Bungy Jumping Race.  The school playground came alive with the electrifying spirit of the parents who unleashed there sportsmanship in the field participating in Flat Race and Chaati Race.  Students were seen cheering up their parents.  The ground resounded with raptures as the winners stood on the victory rostrum.  The Chief Guest appreciated the school for providing a platform for holistic education and excellence in developing the overall personality of the students.
