Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1, South City, Ludhiana, continued the vibrant celebrations on Day Two of the 14th G.S. Memorial – An Inter-School Kids Festival. The event, which commenced two weeks ago with preliminary matches in various sports including cricket, football, basketball and more, witnessed a tremendous display of emerging talent, competitive spirit and sportsmanship among young participants from leading schools across the city.

The grand finale of the sporting events turned the school campus into a vibrant hub of energy and enthusiasm. Students participated in high-octane matches of cricket, football, basketball, swimming and skating, showcasing not only their athletic skills but also discipline, teamwork and determination.

The event was graced by Chairperson Amarjit Kaur Sehgal, School Directors Pawandeep Singh and Ramandeep Singh and Principal Kirti Sharma. All dignitaries commended the enthusiasm, discipline and dedication of the young participants.

Complementing the outdoor action, a series of engaging indoor and stage events such as Pottery Pulse, Peace Council Simulation, Spotlight Stories, Ballads & Beyond and many others offered students a dynamic platform to unleash their creativity, imagination, and expressive abilities. These events added a rich cultural and intellectual dimension to the festival, keeping the audiences captivated throughout the day.

A power-packed cultural performance marked the conclusion of the day’s festivities, leaving the audience mesmerized by the talent and energy of the young performers.
Following the performances, Principal Kirti Sharma appreciated the relentless efforts and competitive spirit displayed by the students and extended her heartfelt gratitude to the panel of judges for their time, expertise and fair evaluation.

The day culminated in a grand prize distribution ceremony where students were felicitated with trophies, medals and certificates in recognition of their hard work and achievements across various categories. The Overall Co-Curricular Trophy was lifted Jesus’ Sacred Heart School and BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School for their exceptional performance. Whereas, the 1^st Runner-Up Position was grabbed by Shri Harkrishan Sahib Public Senior Secondary School, Daba Road.

The 14th G.S. Memorial once again stood as a testament to the power of sports, creativity and collaboration, offering young minds an inspiring platform to grow, express and achieve. The event concluded on a high note as the school director declared the meet closed, leaving behind memories of joy, achievement and spirited camaraderie.
