Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1, South City, Ludhiana, hosted the much awaited 14th G.S Memorial – An Inter School Kids Festival. This annual event is a vibrant celebration of talent, creativity and sportsmanship for students across the city.

The festival saw enthusiastic participation from nearly 6500 students representing over 50 schools. The event commenced with a dignified March Past and Flag Hoisting ceremony. The marching contingents were inspected by theSchool Directors, Pawandeep Singh and Ramandeep Singh, in the esteemed presence of Chairperson Amarjit Kaur. The school’s Principal, Kirti Sharma, extended a warm and respectful welcome to all distinguished guests. The occasion was further enhanced by a heartfelt welcome song performed by the students.

The festival showcased a diverse array of stage and indoor competitions spanning across sports, cultural and academic categories for students from grades I to X. A major highlight was the Athletics events for Grades I to V, which saw enthusiastic participation of young athletes from different schools through the entire city. Simultaneously, the preliminary rounds of cricket, football, basketball and chess had been ongoing in the school campus for more than ten days. Indoor and Stage events such as Frames to Fiction, A Child’s Canvas, Peace Parade (Fashion Show), Kavya Manch and many more not only tested the participant’s talent but also provided a dynamic platform for them to express their creativity and passion.

Following the exciting competitions, a prize distribution ceremony was held, where outstanding students were felicitated with trophies, medals and certificates in recognition of their hard work and dedication. The dignitaries praised the student’s remarkable performances, enthusiasm and zeal to excel and achieve. The 14th G.S Memorial Festival once again reaffirmed Jesus’ Sacred Heart School’s commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering a spirit of healthy competition among the youth of Ludhiana.
