Covid shut schools but could not impede the spirit of Jesus’ Sacred Heartians in celebrating 9th Annual G.S Memorial-Inter School Kids Festival 2020 in Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1, South City, Ludhiana with 35 schools participated on a virtual platform to participate in an array of events in cultural, academic and co- curricular fields.
Huge gathering attended the closing ceremony. The online events such as ‘Power Point Presentation’ and ‘Create your YouTube channel’ were designed to judge the techno savvy skills in students.
In creativity based competition ‘Miniature Garden’, the students exhibited their talent in presenting beautiful art pieces. The highlight of the show was a stage event, ‘Fashion Show’ wherein students presented the latest fashion trends. Tiny tots narrated their stories using multiple hand puppets in Puppet Pawn Show.
The most awaited moment was the announcement of results. The heart throbbing moment was the declaration of overall trophy that was conferred upon Jesus’ Sacred Heart School & BCM Arya Model Sr. Sec. School, first runner up was Guru Nanak International School (Model Town).
The event was declared closed by Honorable Director of the school, Pawandeep Singh who lauded the participants for their never ending enthusiasm. The online show was a huge success.
