Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1, South City, Ludhiana hosted the investiture and felicitation ceremony for junior and senior wings of the school with dignity. The ceremony was held to felicitate the meritorious students who have excelled in scholastic areas and also to invest the newly appointed school council.

The event was presided over by the Director of the school, Pawandeep Singh along with Members of the management and Principal Kirti Sharma. The event also highlighted the merit holders of preprimary and senior section of session, 2018-19 as they were felicitated by the Director and the Principal of the school.

In accordance with the ceremonial procedure and social parlance, the shortlisted candidates of senior section had campaigned for their respective portfolios. They came up with novel strategies to woo their voters. Promises of better discipline and facilities were made as the whole campus oozed with the election fever since last week.

Finally the eagerly awaited moment left the audience enthralled. The selected council members were handed over their badges by the Principal of the school, Kirti Sharma and other dignitaries. All the council members solemnly pledged to perform their duties upholding the dignity of the school. The newly appointed members brimmed with enthusiasm and a will to prove themselves.

It was a momentous occasion, memories of which will remain etched in everyone’s mind for years to come.
