Students of Jesus’ Sacred Heart School, DX-1, South City, Ludhiana clearly marked its presence in mega sports extravaganza ‘Kheda Vatan Punjab Diyan’ organised by Punjab Government and stood strong in the prestigious multi sporting events. In Skating competition, students emerged victorious by clinching 19 Medals including 3 Gold, 9 Silver and 7 Bronze. Adding feather in the cap, 8 students have been selected for State Level competition.

In swimming competition, students outshined by clinching 25 Medals (under 14 &17&21) including 7 Gold 10 Silver and 8 Bronze. 12 students getting selected for State level competition was an icing on the cake.

Students participated in Basketball (Under 14 girls) and bagged IInd position. Handball Girls were no less than anyone by bagging IInd position in Handball competition (under 21). On top of it, few students have been selected for State level whose list will come out in few days.

It is indeed an incredible achievement by the students in making school and district proud as now they will represent the state. It became possible only due to strenuous training and hard work of Physical Education department who worked day and night to polish the skills of students. The Director and the Principal of the School applauded them over their tremendous victory and wish them good luck for their future endeavours. They are hopeful that students will earn name and fame by achieving positions in state level as well and get selected at the National level too.
